Through a selection of outdoor activities, visitors can appreciate the beauty of pristine nature and a well-preserved cultural heritage. On the agenda: lagoon exploration and water sports, hiking, fitness trails, picnics, culinary tours, as well as cultural and historical tours.
Because we aim to create unforgettable experiences within lush tropical nature, we are developing outdoor activities that will allow visitors to discover unique and unspoiled places.
In the heart of Group Beau Vallon’s preserved hunting grounds – the Chemin Français and Rivière-des-Créoles estates – visitors can enjoy a range of outdoor leisure activities. Exclusive hikes and picnics will be arranged, far from crowds and mass tourism – allowing guests to appreciate the tranquility and beauty of the surroundings. Guests can also explore the region through culinary journeys and cultural and historical tours. These activities will showcase the South-East and its local products while fostering the development of local communities.
Through various routes, enthusiasts of hiking, river descents, water sports, and mountain biking can discover all the preserved treasures of this unique territory. Waterfalls, mountains, and lagoons will hold no secrets for the most adventurous!
Since 2018, Groupe Beau Vallon has been organising the Beau Vallon MTB Challenge, a mountain biking race that has quickly become a highlight of the Mauritian cycling calendar. With the development of the Beau Vallon Leisure, the group is working on launching other sports and cultural events to energise and revitalise the South-East. A trail run has started in 2024 on the Group’s lands.
Since 2017, Groupe Beau Vallon has also hosted a hydrofoil competition for the World Championships, bringing together the best athletes on the Pointe d’Esny lagoon.
