Forming part of Beau Vallon Hospitality, Preskil Island Resort, our superior 4-star family hotel, offers 214 rooms, 3 restaurants, 2 bars and several amenities. We are recruiting a passionate and experienced Executive Chef to lead our kitchen operations to the highest standards.

KNOW-HOW:

  • Oversee all kitchen operations, ensuring smooth and efficient functionality.
  • Ensure excellent preparation and presentation of food.
  • Create and introduce innovative menu concepts to enhance the dining experience.
  • Implement strong policies for purchasing, receiving, and storage of food items.
  • Ensure adherence to hygiene regulations and procedures
  • Ensure high standards of customer service and strong employee relations.
  • Set clear targets and standards for kitchen operations.
  • Train and coach the kitchen brigade of 80 staff to maintain high performance standards.
  • Maintain food costs within the scheduled budget.
  • Monitor roster and planning.
  • Prepare annual budget.

KNOWLEDGE:

  • At least 10 years of proven experience.
  • Strong leadership and team-building abilities.
  • In-depth knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.

SKILLS:

  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Strong financial and analytical skills, with experience in budgeting and cost control.
  • Passion for delivering outstanding customer service and food quality.
